![]() ![]() I’m wondering if there’s a way to put some code into the XML file itself to determine the proper default PDF app depending on if the computer has Reader or Acrobat installed. I’m familiar with the manual process of using DISM to create an XML with a list of default app associations. If I understand the process (see the link) for this group policy correctly, all this process does is import an XML file. ![]() Group Policy isn’t granular enough to determine that on its own. The issue I have is how to set the default PDF app when I have 2 possibilities. We don’t currently set default apps via GPO. If they don’t have Acrobat, they have Reader. Not everybody in my environment has Adobe Acrobat. ![]()
